Congratulations to Tyron Hooper! He is celebrating his 10-year anniversary with Zephyr Real Estate this winter and is based in our Pacific Heights office.
Born in Australia and having traveled the world, Tyron proudly calls San Francisco his home. Drawing from over twelve years of experience as a teacher, Tyron continues to demonstrate the capacity to deliver unparalleled listening skills and the ability to fully understand his client’s needs through clear communication from start to finish.
He has been with Zephyr Real Estate since 2007 building trust through his availability, attentiveness and sincerity – all with a personal touch that makes him a pleasure to work with. His main priority is in meeting his client’s goals and his passion in doing just that is exemplified through the many inherent traits he possesses and his proficiency for resourcefulness. His overall solid negotiation skills are a tribute to his successful career and ever-growing local, national and international client base.
When he’s not pounding the pavement on his client’s behalf, he is either laying serious tracks with his road bike, hiking the many local trails searching for witchety grubs, cooking up a storm, watching Australian football, or entertaining at home with all his friends.
We got to know Tyron a little better when catching up with him about his Zephyr anniversary.
What neighborhood/city do you live in & why? How long have you lived there and what do you love best about it?
“I live in Russian Hill and have been here for the past 10years. I am an active cyclist and runner and it allows me to ride over the GGB most mornings with little fuss for traffic and hills. I also love the vibrant shops and neighborhood restaurants and bars of Russian Hill, Nob Hill & North Beach. Russian Hill is a very enchanting and romantic neighborhood with cute alley ways around like the fabled Macondray Lane, a hidden garden. Go check it out as it’s a fun way to explore.”
Do you have a favorite architectural style or building in the Bay Area? In the world?
“I have always been drawn by the Marina style home or apartments around the city. The Marina style floor plans are known to be great for entertaining because of their generous entryways, ample living room space overlooking the street, separate dining rooms and bedrooms at the rear. Large backyards are a classic feature. A unique building style and type, Marina houses are typically found in San Franciscan. Also, the Pacific Union Club building always intrigues me and I am sure the walls could tell some amazing stories. It always seems so Mysterious. The building itself is grand, opulent, and ornate.”
