We got to know Silvana a little better when catching up with her about her Zephyr anniversary.
1. What neighborhood/city do you live in & why? How long have you lived there and what do you love best about it?
“I live in Cow Hollow where I raised my children. There’s a community presence with preschools, elementary schools and private high schools all in walking distance from my home. I enjoyed walking my children to school and living in close proximity to parks and restaurants with Union St. as my go-to.”
2. What do you love to do in your spare time? Do you have a favorite place to hang out in the Bay Area?
“I love to walk my dog, Lucy, to Fort Mason (one of my favorite parks) and from Crissy Field to below the bridge and back, stopping off at the Warming Hut for a cup of Java. When I’m not walking Lucy, I enjoy cycling around the city; Golden Gate Park, Presidio and Marin Headlands are my favorite destinations. I also love hanging out at Chestnut St. cafes with outdoor seating watching people walk by and soaking in some sunshine.”
3. Is there one neighborhood or city in the Bay Area that you think is truly a hidden gem and why?
“Sutro Heights area nestled high above the Cliff House on the edge of San Francisco; It is a hidden gem of the outer Richmond (Sutro Heights) with wonderful homes offering fantastic water views of the coastline.”
