Congratulations to Rohan Israni! He celebrated his 2-year anniversary with Zephyr Real Estate in July and is based in our Pacific Heights office.

After studying business and finance at Michigan State University, Rohan managed marketing efforts for a pharmaceutical company, leading branding, promotion, and development projects. It was his experience in this position that helped him to fine-tune his marketing and project management skills, which have directly helped him in his thriving real estate career today.

Rohan has always had a passion for all elements of the real estate profession, from a childhood interest in architecture and design, to an education in finance, with an emphasis on marketing. But his greatest interest today is in his clients. Communicating with them about their real estate goals and then working together to achieve them is what makes the business of real estate so enjoyable for him. Rohan truly has an unwavering dedication to making a difference in his clients’ lives, as well as in the real estate community, focused on fostering his network of fellow agents and professionals to strengthen his commitment to his clients.

We got to know Rohan a little better when catching up with him about his Zephyr anniversary.

1. What is your favorite part of being a real estate agent?

“My favorite part of being a real estate agent is helping people buy and sell homes. It’s one of the biggest decisions they are making, and I love sharing that experience with them and seeing their excitement when escrow closes. I also like the constant changing nature of each day and deal. It really keeps you on your toes.”

2. If you could live anywhere else in the world outside of the Bay Area, where would it be and why?

“If I could live anywhere else in the world outside the Bay Area I would live in Mumbai. It’s such a vibrant and growing city and there is so much to do. There is a unique variety of food and products available and I love the pace of life over there.”

3. If you were not a real estate agent, what would you be doing?

“If I was not a real estate agent I would be doing marketing, design and consultations for luxury hotels around the world. I love looking at hotels and find the hospitality business very interesting.”
