Congratulations to Matt Fuller! He is celebrating his 15-year anniversary with Zephyr Real Estate this Spring and is based in our Upper Market office.

Matt joined Zephyr Real Estate in 2002 after a career in enterprise technology sales at Apple. Since becoming a REALTOR®, he has earned his GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), the highest professional certification offered by the National Association of Realtors as well as his Certified International Property Specialist designation, of which there are currently fewer than 100 in San Francisco.

He is the 2017 President of the San Francisco Association of Realtors, and serving as an elected Director on the Board of Directors. Past volunteer leadership roles have included 2016 President-Elect, Strategic Planning Committee Chair, 2015 Chief Financial Officer, Budget & Finance Committee Chair, MLS & Technology Committee Chair.

We got to know Matt a little better when catching up with him about his Zephyr anniversary.

1. Do you have a favorite neighborhood in San Francisco, and why?
“Favorite neighborhoods: I’m a dog guy, I love to run and I love to eat. Put me near a running trail, a dog park, or within walking distance of a great restaurant and I’m a happy guy. The Inner Sunset, Cole Valley, Duboce Triangle, and Hayes Valley are just a few neighborhoods where that trifecta of food, fun, and fitness is impossibly easy.”

2. What activities fill up your spare time?
“My proudest personal accomplishment is becoming a parent, along with my husband, to our beautiful daughter through an open adoption. In addition to being a proud parent, I am an avid runner — so far my longest distance in an organized event is completing a 50k in the Marin headlands at a North Face Endurance Challenge. I am also a dog-person, and over the years have been the vet-bill payer and dog groomer to a beautiful Newfoundland (found on a Tuesday tour, hence the name Tuesday), a willful Basset Hound, and a squirrel-obsessed mutt. Our family’s current dog is Bonnie, a beautiful mutt that they adopted through Rocket Dog Rescue. I am also an avid reader, an amateur foodie and enthusiastic cook, and gadget freak.”
