Congratulations to Judy Rydell! She is celebrating 36 years with Zephyr Real Estate this Spring and is based in our Upper Market office.

Judy Rydell has been a trusted name in the Bay Area real estate industry for over 30 years. After traveling the world and becoming a jack of all trades, she put down roots in San Francisco and teamed up with Zephyr Real Estate. Thanks to her professional achievements along the way, she has been Assistant Sales Manager at the Upper Market Zephyr office since 1998 and teaches real estate practice to new agents at Zephyr.

Judy’s transferable skills have been instrumental in her success as a REALTOR®. The strengths from past endeavors from catering and yacht sales to zookeeping and safari coordinating, have afforded her the proficiencies to master the world of real estate, an industry built on relationships. Her polished aptitude for networking and innate ability to quickly identify her client’s unique needs by genuinely listening to them, has set the bar for those around her.

Judy is well-known and respected in the Bay Area industry and offers true value to the clients she works with. She takes one listing at a time, dedicating a steadfast focus to each individual transaction, providing an unparalleled experience for her clients. She has fostered relationships in the community with other agents, appraisers, escrow officers and other professionals, all vetted resources that she extends to each of her clients.

Having lived all over the world, she enjoys revisiting old favorite locales, and also exploring new terrain. When she finds some downtime closer to home, she takes pride in tending to her huge Japanese garden and koi pond at her own Noe Valley property.

We got to know Judy a little better when catching up with her about her Zephyr anniversary.

1. What neighborhood/city do you live in and why? How long have you lived there and what do you love best about it?
“I live in Noe Valley off 24th St. and love it. I have lived in my Noe home for 25 years. I live on a sunny quiet street and have a peaceful Japanese landscaped yard with a koi pond and waterfall. It is heaven on earth and a great escape when living in a big city like S.F.”

2. Do you have a favorite architectural style or building in the Bay Area? In the world?
“I love all architectural styles in S.F. if they are done well. This city has them all. I also love the old palaces in India which I have traveled especially Rajasthan area.”
