Congratulations to Eileen Bermingham! She is celebrating 6 years with Zephyr Real Estate this winter and is based in our Noe Valley office.

A Noe Valley resident for the past 20 years, Eileen has been selling residential real estate in San Francisco since 2002. Her clients appreciate her clear, prompt communication and the straightforward advice that she offers, always with their best interests in mind.

Eileen shares her market insights on her popular Inside San Francisco Real Estate blog. Home buyers and sellers alike benefit from her detailed knowledge of the city’s many diverse neighborhoods and micro markets.

When Eileen isn’t working, she stays fit running up and down San Francisco’s steep hills, enjoys good food and wine, and spends time with her partner and their two Cairn Terriers.

We got to know Eileen a little better when catching up with her about her Zephyr anniversary.

1. Do you have a favorite architectural style in San Francisco?

“I really appreciate tastefully renovated Victorians and Edwardians. One of my pet peeves in real estate is seeing a remodel where someone’s ripped the soul out of the home and replaced it with a generic, modern interior. I’ve had many clients who’ve bought Victorians and have done wonderful, thoughtful renovations that incorporated period detail and have a great sense of authenticity.”

2. Is there one neighborhood in San Francisco that you think is truly a hidden gem, and why?

“Miraloma Park. It’s quiet, safe and has a very tight-knit community. It’s also surprisingly close to public transportation, freeways, and the retail districts in both West Portal and Noe Valley. I’ve had several clients whom I’ve helped buy homes in Miraloma. They hadn’t initially thought about buying there, but are very happy they did.”
