Congratulations to Debra Gurriere! She is celebrating her 11-year anniversary with Zephyr Real Estate this spring and is based in our Pacific Heights office.
Debra is a San Francisco native and resident, as well as small property owner and landlord. She began her career as a residential appraiser giving her a solid foundation of knowledge of San Francisco’s diverse neighborhoods. The combination of being a real estate professional with property owner has given her a front-row seat in observing, and analyzing, the dynamic San Francisco housing market since 1988, genuine insider information she can share with her clients. She believes that one of the most significant investments in life is a home, whether it be a condominium, TIC, multi-family or single-family residence. By extending her resources, acumen and thriving passion for real estate to her clients, she is able to help them confidently make the important decisions that come along with home buying and selling.
We got to know Debra a little better when catching up with her about her Zephyr anniversary.
1. What neighborhood/city do you live in and why? How long have you lived there and what do you love best about it?
“My husband and I recently moved to a classic European style condominium in Pacific Heights – across from Lafayette Park. It feels like Paris. We recently traveled to Paris this winter and realized what a gem of a neighborhood we live in. I most like the varied and human scaled architecture with the walkability to everything we need, from grocery to shoe shopping!”
2. What do you love to do in your spare time? Do you have a favorite place to hang out in the Bay Area?
“My favorite way to unwind is sharing quiet evenings with my husband, preparing meals paired with a chosen bottle of wine. We also love to eat out and are avid movie buffs. We are members of the San Francisco Film Festival, the San Francisco Jazz and the Commonwealth Club. I regularly take evening runs in my neighborhood and enjoy the views of the City and the Bay.”
3. Is there one neighborhood in the Bay Area that you think is truly a hidden gem and why?
“Golden Gate Heights. This west of Twin Peaks neighborhood is situated on one of our seven hills and thus many homes enjoy beautiful ocean views and good value as compared to a similar home in Noe Valley or Eureka Valley.”
