Congratulations to Damon Knox! He is celebrating his 10-year anniversary Zephyr Real Estate this April and is based in our Upper Market office.

A San Francisco resident for more than 20 years, Damon Knox has resided in many of the neighborhoods that weave the diverse fabric of its landscape. He currently resides in the SOMA (South of Market Area) district of San Francisco. Committed to creating the best experience for both buyers and sellers, he undertakes the long process of continually increasing his knowledge on inventory, market drivers and the ever-changing legislation to help his client’s make the best, and most-informed, decisions through their buying or selling process.

His 20+ years in the service industry provide him with the experience and creativity to proactively resolve issues and mitigate exposure and tensions common to most transactions. With over a decade of experience in residential sales, commercial multi-family, and commercial leasing, lifelong clients and referrals are the foundation his business.

We got to know Damon a little better when catching up with him about his Zephyr anniversary.

1. What neighborhood/city do you live in & why? How long have you lived there and what do you love best about it?
“My wife and I have lived in or around SOMA for over a decade. We love the central location, proximity to transportation and freeways as well as the walkability to all the local amenities. I’m also a huge Giants fan, so walking to the ballpark is a big plus!”

2. What do you love to do in your spare time? Do you have a favorite place to hang out in the Bay Area?
“In my spare time you can find me either riding a bike in Marin, eating & drinking my way thru the city (I was a Chef in my life prior to real estate), or hiking and walking around the city. My favorite place to hang out would definitely be AT&T Park. Great baseball, great food and beer? Heaven on Earth!”

3. Do you have a favorite architectural style or building in the Bay Area? In the world?
“I’m a huge fan of modern/minimalist architecture. My dream home would be an Eichler with views and modest updates. I’m really into bright spaces and passive light so we currently reside in a loft in SOMA with amazing cityscape views.”
