Congratulations to Brenda Tam! She is celebrating her 3-year anniversary with Zephyr Real Estate this August and is based at our West Portal office.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Brenda moved to the Bay Area in 1986 and purchased her first home in 1996. Two years later, the real estate industry beckoned her, and she responded with enthusiasm. Her previous career as an international tour organizer set the foundation for her fierce marketing and strategic planning skills as well as her passion to work with people from a diverse background, a beneficial skill in the multi-cultural city of San Francisco. Brenda has been a Top Producer for the past consecutive 14 years owing her success to her resourcefulness, outstanding communication, tech savvy skills and commitment to each and every one of her client’s goals.
When congratulating Brenda on her Zephyr anniversary, she shared a look behind the scenes to get to know her a little better.
1. You have already worked in more than one professional field. If you were not a realtor, what would your next big dream job be and why?
“I want to be a developer. After being a realtor for 18 years, I really love my field. With my expertise in the industry, I think I can do well on the other side of the field… be a seller! That is challenging and fun to me. I like to make things happen. I like the challenge!”
2. If you had to pick one San Francisco neighborhood to settle down in, which one would it be and why?
“I want to live in the Inner Sunset. I love the neighborhood, Golden Gate Park, the food. I have to have Chinese food almost every day (if I remember to eat!). I have lived in the Sunset for quite a number of years (over 10). I also lived in the neighborhood that people love, Mission Dolores, but it didn’t do anything for me. I still drive to the Sunset every other day!”
3. What is the number one request from residential clients that they have to have in a house?
“Their number one is always different as they pick what their budget can afford. If money is not a problem, “move-in conditions” are nowadays what busy buyers require as they don’t have the time to fix it.
